Jazlyn Ruiz is a dancer, model, and choreographer living in Orlando, Florida. At the age of 13, she began her formal dance training at Turning Pointe School of Dance. Jazlyn continued dancing during college, earning her BA in Dance Performance, Choreography, and Communication. In 2019, she received the DeLong Senior Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance at Hope College.
Jazlyn has performed in various styles, working with leadership from companies like Grand Rapids Ballet, Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Ballet Magnificat, and Ballet 5:8. She has also worked with Urban Garden Performing Arts, Chamberlain Dance Company, CPR Dance, and Movement Reservior Dance Company. Her work as a performer and teacher has created opportunities to serve across the United States, Europe, and South America.
Since 2020, Jazlyn has modeled and acted in commercials, promotional videos, and print work. She has also performed in music videos, live concerts, social events, and site-specific exhibits. Some recent clients include Target, Zoom, Haworth, Herman Miller, Jhonny's Markets, and Meijer.
